Let's promote happiness together

The charity auction “Let’s promote happiness together” for the Manuel Neuer Kids Foundation has started

The “Meisterstück ART Edition” charity auction by Christian Nienhaus and Küppersbusch Hausgeräte GmbH for the benefit of the Manuel Neuer Kids Foundation has been running since Monday, May 5, 2015. The Gelsenkirchen artist Christian Nienhaus painted a cooking island with his intention “Let’s promote happiness together”. In more than 160 hours of preparation and work, Christian Nienhaus transformed a 260 kg stainless steel block into a unique work of art.Christian Nienhaus is an internationally recognized painter and object artist! Since the Manuel Neuer Kids Foundation was founded, he has been a member of the board of trustees with Peter Lohmeyer and Holger Stromberg, among others.

Christian Nienhaus on the project:
“Of course, it is always important to me to make a contribution to our foundation. I was therefore delighted that the Küppersbusch company rolled such a generous donation into my studio and allowed me to let off steam with my creative ideas.I travel to many countries for my artistic work. The experiences he gained with people, nature and culture were an important step in his painterly realization. I felt that our world map as a foundation was a perfect start. My goal is to foster happiness in the hearts of children! The huge wheels of a winding tower symbolize the movement of this project. To help children in need and bring their happiness to light from the depths. A skyline of buildings from major cities around the world surrounds the kitchen block and demonstrates the scope of this idea. Let’s all promote happiness together and distribute it to the children!”
Manuel Neuer was immediately enthusiastic about the project and visited Christian Nienhaus in his studio to see the finished art object. The artist’s idea was also to place Manuel Neuer’s signature in the right place on the kitchen unit. There, Christian Nienhaus painted two hands that interlock to form a heart.
