Kinetic object “Being earth”<\/h1>\n

Art in public spaces means paying attention to art and breathing new life into it.
\nArt can be perceived differently there.<\/p>\n

Far away from the hermetically sealed-off locations of traditional art presentations (and administration), the artist Christian Nienhaus presents his new kinetic art project “ErdSein”. Which, among other things, will also stand for the idea and philosophy of the 2006 World Cup.<\/p>\n

Intention of the artist:<\/strong>
\n“I reconstruct for the viewer what everyday reality looks like. Continents move further and further away and demonstrate the thought structure of humanity, characterized by politics and racial conflicts. Through various increases in movement, lights and the merging of continents, one realizes that it is precisely play that paves the way for overcoming borders and conflicts.”<\/p>\n
